Once-a-Month Club Permission Slip
In light of current events surrounding Coronavirus, and for the safety and health of our community, our Once-A-Month Club and Middle School Enrichment Program activities are on hold until further notice.
Middle School Enrichment Program Permission Slip
Every year, GYG awards a number of students with scholarships to attend a camp of their choice (up to $200) in honor of their dedication to community. Students that participate in GYG community events during the year or who have done something to serve their school or community to make it a better place are eligible. Each year, submissions are due in March and scholarship recipients are notified by mid-April. Please note that these scholarships are NOT needs-based. Instead, these awards are based on student’s service to the community.
Grades 1-5 Summer Camp
GYG’s Youth Summer Camps are held in July. These camps are for students entering grades 1-5. We offer two weeks of camp (the program for both weeks will be the same) to accommodate more children. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center. *Please note that all GYG camps are for children who reside in Gallatin Gateway or who attend Gallatin Gateway School. This camp is filled with fun activities and educational opportunities. Tentative camp activities MAY include educational tours, swimming, Butte’s Ridgewaters Water Park, and more.
Grades 6-9 Summer Camp
Middle School Leadership Camp
GYG’s Middle School Leadership Camp will be held in July. This camp is for students entering grades 6-9. The camp will run Tuesday-Thursday from 8:00 am-3:30 pm. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center. *Please note that all GYG camps are for children who reside in Gallatin Gateway or who attend Gallatin Gateway School. There is a strong focus on leadership with GYG students involved in the planning and organization. Fun activities for this camp MAY include a Hyalite water day, community service projects and more.
** GYG Camp Mask Policy: GYG recommends the wearing of masks/shields among campers and staff, but it is not required. This decision means that campers and staff will be making their personal decision regarding whether or not to wear a mask/shield. Campers will be separated by three feet (unless of the same family unit) on the bus and COVID-19 cleaning protocols will be adhered to.
We support everyone’s decision regarding the wearing of masks/shields, and if you are a parent that needs our support in helping your camper wear a mask/shield, please let us know.
